Robyn Curran was born in Oceanside, NY in 1960 and graduated from New Fairfield, CT High School in 1978. Robyn swam year-round for the Wilton YMCA swim team and became a national level swimmer. Robyn attended college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she swam and was the captain for the UNC-G Spartans swim team. Robyn graduated with a degree in English education in 1983.
Robyn and Michael were married in New Fairfield, CT in 1982 and they raised three children, Kristin, Bryttany and Danielle in the Apex / Cary, NC communities. Robyn was an active volunteer mom in all of the girl’s activities including the PTA, coached their summer league swim teams, was a Meet Director for the year-round swim team, choral trip coordinator and soccer mom.
